Mr. Katzenellenbogen with friends onboard (yes, we actually were on a boat…) arranged a sweeeeet new years celebration. Excellent food, totally skilled party people and an endless amount of alcohol made the night complete. Strandvägen was the perfect spot for watching the massive fireworks at midnight, magic stuff! Afterwards we all went all in on the hot shots….Happy new one folks!
when i travel i live
For 10 days we went to Dubai and Abu Dhabi for some work and a little vacation. Dubai is, like you already know, a craaaaaaazy place and now I got it confirmed. The number of breathtaking bars, buildíngs, clubs, hotels, viewing points, malls etc etc are just to many to be counted. We saw some really magic places and for sure I will go back somewhere in the future. Here are some of the pictures I dig the most.

In the studio
The last couple of weeks before Christmas I shot som studio jobs. It´s not my typical kind of job nowadays, but still a great deal of fun to feel the connection with other people in the studio. One of the projects (which I for some reasons can´t tell that much about right now…) will end up in some graphic work for a media company. I hardly can´t wait to see the result and as soon as it´s ready I will post it on the blog. Meanwhile, enjoy a test picture!

Action just like you want it
For the fourth year in a row, LG Winter Jam fired off at Stockholms Stadion. As always it was a stunning show, with the best riders in the world, on snowboard and skies. In front of 20.000 + people Stefan Gimpl (snb) and Andreas Håtveit (ski) showed the best moves of the day and walked away with the number 1 spot. Incredible skills from both of them I really must say, I felt like granpa only watching them. I took some press pictures and documentary stuff for Louder, the organizer of the event.

A Christmas Carol
A good friend of mine, Axel Ekblad, is the producer of a theatrical performance called “A Christmas Carol” (see www.christmascarol.se for more info). The past weekend I shot some press and advertising pictures for the show. It was I quite different job compared to want I usually do, but a great deal of fun! We had a session for a bit more than six hours and here below are some of the pictures we got. Now – book your tickets and prepare for an amazing show!

So long sweet summer
Yesterday I spent the afternoon assisting photographer Jörgen Reimer (check out his great work at www.reimer.se) with a project. The light were soft and the weather quite good, so after our session I picked up my camera and fired some shots in Tantolunden, Hornstull. I guess the summer is over now….

Yoghurt anyone?
I remember them from different flavours of Arla-youghurt, and for some reason I´ve always wanted to get one of them on a picture. I´m talking about the old people posing on the packages, happier and in better mental shape than ever.
At Skopelos, in Greece, it suddenly happened. He was sitting there in an ally, chilling with his cane, and seemed to have no worries at all.
“Is it ok if I take a picture?”
“Yes, yes”, he said and nodded with the most kindly face I´ve seen in years.
I shot a few pics and one minute later my hunt for “Yoghurt oldies” was over.
Mama Mia!
Went to the Greek islands Skiathos and Skopelos for a week to do some travel photos and close a project. Once again I realized that travelling around the world with a camera in my hand is totally the best way to get the most out of life. Just love it.
